Hello there,

My name is Sam, my full name is Samantha Hernandez Prado but I go by Sam. Welcome to my website!

My acting career began with my love for music. I had been in choirs since I was 9 years old. Later on in high school I remember for our final end of the year performance I sang, “Good Morning Baltimore” by Hairspray. I know…don’t say it. “But you’d never be casted for Tracy!” No shit, but for a night? I thought, “why not?!” I got to live out a dream !

Ever since then, my love for the arts, performance, and acting grew. My love for storytelling and writing began to merge with my real life relationships and experiences. This was also the time I started to become fond of the cinema. Fast forward a few years later and I attended university. I went to Baruch College and that is where my acting journey began. After my acting professor suggested I explore it a bit further. Thanks Chris!

I graduated Baruch College and began my training at the Barrow group and have since received training at other acting studios such as The Acting Studio. That is where I am currently studying the Meisner Technique. My love for acting and storytelling has led me into the world of music! I write about the people closest to me. I am fascinated by people and emotions. I now write my own music and am excited to share I will be releasing it soon. Stay tuned!
